We take seriously any threatening, abusive or violent behaviour against any of our staff or patients and practice a zero tolerance policy.
Patients who are violent or abusive, in any way, may be dealt with as follows:-
- Given an written warning.
- Removal from the Practice, immediately if necessary, and be asked to register with another GP Surgery.
- Sent to an Alternative Treatment Service (Bridgend) for GP Services.
All of the above will be permanently retained on your medical record.
Furthermore, the practice will not hesitate to take legal action or inform the police whenever it is appropriate to do so.
